Sex and romance, and sex and love, and sex, sex, sex! This book could be renamed as “Ian and Tessa Make a Porno” and still work. This is the kind of book that will make readers jealous! Who wouldn’t want to experience the carnal affections these two lovers do?! But more than that, this is the love story of Ian and Tessa. While we do get to see what some of the support characters are up to, the majority of the focus is on the relationship of Ian and Tessa – both physically and emotionally.
Crave can easily be read without first having to read Covet. Janet Nissenson does really well with giving enough of the backstory to allow new readers to know what had happened to get to where the characters are, without being too boring or repetitive for those who read Covet first. Personally, I believe I would have liked Crave better had I not read Covet first. Mostly, for me, because it felt like the characters were different. Some of the vocabulary and actions were not what I would have expected. However, I think anyone who enjoys a good romance will enjoy this book.
